Lost Grey top side button

Hi all,

Question for Lost Grey owners.
I received my Lost Grey first week of April and I love this thing. The one thing I noticed when unboxing is that the top (decorative) button is somewhat loose. It wiggles ever so slightly. Does anybody have this too? Is this normal?
My understanding is that though decorative the do have a function, to hold the inner hilt in place. I hope you can help!
