Problem with Flash on Clash

Hi, I just got my Consular saber today(Jan 17th) with obsidian sound, and everything was working brilliantly. The saber was very bright(Red), and I was very happy with the Flash on Clash effect(Silver). But just now on the same day, I went to the store leaving the saber at home, and when I come back, the flash on clash effect doesnt work. Not with saber lockup or on clashing. Please help?

What you're saying is, the saber turns on (light and sound both function fine) but the flash on clash feature does not work?  I just wanted to clarify that.

This sounds silly, but have you tried charging the Li-ion batteries?  If not, charge them to full and see if that works.  The batteries don't come charged.

Well, these did. It worked right out of the box to my own surprise actually. But it may be possible they werent fully charged and therefore cant deliver the amps to drive the 10W LED for the FoC. I will try to charge them.

Yeah they typically have some charge, but many people have issues where they die not long after they try the saber out.  It tends to be a source of disappointment, at least until they charge them fully.

If that doesn't fix your problem, it could be something else.  In that case, Ultrasabers will be happy to help you out with your issue - they cover their sabers with a warranty.

The batteries are charging now. I just thought they were fully charged because I was so amazed with the brightness in the blade, compared to my old Aggressor with a lux 3 red. I know that Ultrasabers have warranty, and that they would help me with my issues.(I own several Ultrasabers :d) Its just that sending the saber back is an issue for me, as I live in Norway, so it costs alot.

I will report back when the batteries have reached full charge. Other than this issue, I am impressed with the saber.

Ok, I have a full charge on the batteries now and the flash on clash works again. Thanks for my help, I didnt think the solution was that simple. Now with the charged batteries, I am amazed with the brightness in the blade.

No problem at all!  Glad to hear that helped, it's nice when the solution is that simple.  I would have hated for you to have to send it back for repairs... I know what it's like getting a new saber, you never wanna put it down.

hi i am having a Problem two i got a saber with FOC my Main LED was Red & the FOC was Arctic Blue now put red & blue you get Purple it was Purple for one week but when i changed my sound font on my saber i got a blue FOC its sweet NP But did like the Purple why is my saber changeing ? Dante
