So I was told to come here and write a review of my recent purchase, The Dark Monarch.
Blazing Red / Heavy Grade Blade with Obsidian sound.
This Lightsaber is absolutely amazing. From the craftsmanship of the hilt to the internal wiring and soldering, I am truly impressed. I really appreciate the extra time put in to heat shrink every splice, and securing the obsidian sound board and batteries. There is absolutely no rattle or loose components when swinging this lightsaber at full speed.
From the grip with the heavy grade blade, the lightsaber feels top heavy. However, when wielded from the choke (picture below) it feels as if you could bludgeon your enemy to death with it.
I was very impressed with the Center of Balance (picture below) of the lightsaber. Makes swordplay much easier and lessens strain on the wrist when wielding. But remember this is with the Heavy Grade blade, and I have not tried the mid-grade blades.
