Hello!
I ordered my Domonix really late one night and the next day it was shipped! ~A week later, it arrived (today!). I had sent in a question to Ultrasabers and they responded really fast and professionally.
Pics to come, and afterpix of some weathering I'm gonna attempt!
I got a Domonix V3 (went all black for Aurick's style weathering), with BR, silver FoC, and red AV switch.
It's the 5th saber I've owned and puts all the previous ones to shame. The only thing I can think of that it's missing (and is far from a deal breaker obviously) is the idle flicker.
I also got the Dark Catalyst pommel and the newer cuts for sound are awesome.
Althought it feels just slightly larger than expected, the weight is good. The sound is loud and the blade is vibrant even during daylight. It does feel a little pink outside in the sunlight though lol.
The swtich's bezel moves just a little bit, but the button is nice and secure.
Grips feel good, no sharp edges either. Very clean. Electronics are clean and easy to get to.
Obsidian Launcher was easy to navigate and figure out. I'm keeping the default sounds for now tho. The initial 'on' hiss is cool!
I'm very happy with this saber. It's nice and solid. I'd definately recommend Ultrasabers. If you've been thinking about it and have the funds, go for it!
I wish I had purchased from Ultrasabers instead of the other 4 previously owned sabers.

Nice. That second picture makes your saber look really mean. Lol. When I do pictures with my camera's flash on they always turn out weird and not as good as yours.

Thanks!  I did weather the emitter a bit more so the lines show a tad more silver. Also threw in an ARKM blade plug and it looks pretty sweet. Though the US plug is brighter. |
