Color Review: Sentinel Yellow (Pic heavy)

Ladies and gentlemen of Saberforum, as most of you have doing reviews of the sabers themselves, I would like to do one on the Secret color Sentinel Yellow.

Originally my second saber, the Dark Arbiter, was ordered in Sunrider's Destiny and looked fantastic.  But after looking around on the site, I've realized that I wanted my saber to have a yellow blade. I want to thank Kham-Ryn Kurios's thread of how to get these secret colors, so here is my Dark Arbiter, Tuomio, with the new color (Also showcasing my two pommels and emitters, D. Warglaive, Guardian, Dark Arbiter, Dark Guardian combo pommel):















This color is really bright, almost as bright as Consular Green, and it really stands out better than Sunrider's Destiny.  The base is more green, the middle then shows the true yellow, and then it starts turning red near the tip. Overall its an awesome color, giving it an 8.5/10, but only because its still in the experimental stage of development.

The minute I ignited the blade, I intantly said "Damn...." Seriously the only words I had! Ever since playing KotOR, I always wondered what it would be like to wield a Sentinel's blade.  And now I know! I really hope this color becomes added to the main line up to the other eight mainstream colors sometime soon! But I'll admit that it still needs a little more tweaking.

I kind of enjoy the idea of some colors being unique with some people ordering forum colors and getting slightly different shades. Kind of how ordering grab bags without choosing a color and letting the color choose you. As long as the color is a few shades from what you asked for or expected. It's also interesting how at least this Sentinal Yellow seems to have a different shade from base to tip and seems to very from person to person. You say yours goes from green at base to yellow to reddish at the tip. I've seen some yellow blades with green at the tip. Just interesting.

Still trying to decide on my next blade color between the forum color DVA or a GB or CG.

I never knew that you can put Revan claws on the Warglaive emitter. It looks amazing!!

Yeah, it's interesting, my SY is all yellow from the base, up through the middle with a touch of green at the tip - most people don't even see it, but since I've spent so much time with it, I know it's there.

I'm glad the thread helped, that's what it's there for and also that you're happy with what you got. 

Always remember to keep your batteries charged to maximum, SY sucks batteries dry fairly quickly.

I originally wanted yellow but opted for RGB to get it.
It looks about the same as mine on camera
