NEED advice for custom bulding lightsaber

Im brand new to custom lightsaber building and have a bit of knowlege with wiring, and electronics, but I really want to build a cutsom saber. Now that being said I have all the parts I want picked out Im just unsure about the sounds, and lighting FX. I just would like my saber to make the sounds for turning on and off, moving, and the clashing sound and light FX. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

yes the LED is the color... as for lighting FX.. like flash on clash in other colors, that is part of the 3.0 soundboards.. 125$.. replace the sound board from the Li-ion pack/speaker, and follow the wiring guide in the forums... your good to go... with what you say you have already anyways..

go to the main Ultrasaber sight and click on build your own lightsaber, then sound, then the 3.0 obsidian board, then scroll all the way down to the bottom.. there is the diagram for the 3,0.. with accents, and FoC all shown easy to read, hope this helps out..

Hilt wise, just go with what you think you will like and will be comfortable to hold with. I think a Manticore body, Dark Shock emitter and pommel would look cool. Maybe add a vented black flush mount couple under the emitter for light to shine through and for an extra grip point. Can't wait to see what you come up with though. =]

What i was going for was the manticore emitter, dark glaive hilt, and archon pommel. They unfortunately dont seem to have many bodies in stock right now or available so i may wait and see if anything else comes along

it is an add in.. there should be an option for it when you pick a hilt... another thing to note, is that ... when you see parts you like.. you dont have to get the leds and electronics with them.. technically you could buy one fully loaded hilt with the body you want.. then get another hilt that has the Emitter/Pummel you want.. and then switch them out when you get them all delivered.. that can be over time ofcourse..

remember, most sabers also come with a open basic stub pummel..

So then either order the Dark War Glaive, a Manticore emitter, and an Archon pommel, which wouldn't be too bad with the 15% sale (plus would give you some options), or send a message to [email protected] inquiring about the price difference to order the Dark War Glaive hilt substituting the Manticore emitter and Archon pommel for the ones that normally come with the Dark War Glaive.

The recharge port is an option.  I haven't seen the recharge port jack listed in the available parts here but it is available elsewhere if you are intent on building the saber yourself.
