I just got a Shock LE in violet amethyst with Jedi sound as my graduation present the other day (my mom is awesome), and I need to change the batteries because when I turn it on it sputters and fades out after a few seconds. Problem is, When I unscrew either the pommel or emitter I can't see where the battery pack is, or how to access it. Can anybody help me out? I'd greatly appreciate your help.

I have basically the same saber (Dark Shock with sound) so I can help. Unscrew the pommel. You should see a small speaker. The speaker is attached to the bottom of the battery pack. You might have to tap the hilt to get it  to come out. It took me a little bit to get it out, cause I didn't want to damage the speaker. Yeah! that did the trick! I wasn't sure what the speaker was when I first looked at it so I was a little lost. Thanks for your help!
