Custom light violet color (Emerald) though it looks much darker in the picture  You've got to spect the link that says (forums and bords) but here you go Well I guess that didn't work either  But its a nice shde of purple for sure I don't understand why the link won't work |

Oh, I see what you mean. I didn't realize the pics were linked to the album. Seems like you have to copy the direct link and then add image brackets instead of using their automated IMG link. Is it possible to edit earlier posts? Another shot (excuse to try out the above solution)  |

Thanks! Emerald is quite nice, indeed. I achieved this shade by combining R 185 G 72 B 255. For my FoC, it pulses between that and R 255 20 times, creating a nice lockup effect. |

A single Jazz Purple Rosco filter. In person its like a TRUE purple. =]  Nice use of Rosco filters. I feel like Lee filters get more love than Rosco, but they have different hues when you put intense light through them. |

Did you get a VA Monarch because you love the Venture Brothers? I do. And that would totally be my VB's saber.
I love Venture bros! I have the dark monarch in VA (pics coming soon) and i think that every time i pick it up. I was even thinking about making a Monarch costume for halloween next year. A point for the epic cartoon reference. |

This was a VA DSI but VA turned out to be not dark enough. I wanted a deep purple so I added a LEE filter deep purple swatch to it. Like always, pics don't do it justice.   |

Definitely. A color disc can really lighten or darken the shade, just enough to make it perfect. |
