Yeah, it does look pretty sweet in orange.  Early morning oranges:  The Aeon V2 was part of a Phantasm staff that I bought as part of my entry for the first summer raffle of 2016. No prize sabers in that one, but I love my twin Aeons, though I turned one of them orange. The other one is Sentinel Yellow, the color they came in. I got the orange LED out of a Dark Sentinel that I got in a grab bag. I loved the color so much that I had to give it another home when I upgraded the Dark Sentinel to sound and RGB. The Dominix LE V3 is from the recent flash sale on that hilt. I love it, it's actually in Tri Orange. You can really see that Tri towards the business end of the blade, where the single dims out more the Tri is still bright. Also, the bloom towards the emitter is brighter on the Tri. Both sabers are stunts, 'cause I love me a good stunt.  Fun fact: I also switched the Corvetec wheels on these hilts. I thought the silver would look good on the LE, and it does. The black also goes nicely with the black guarded switch on the V2. |

Beautiful orange sabers you have there, SFD. The prize of your Phantasm was the staff itself but I'm sure you were still happy regardless. Do you still mate the two together? Would love to see a picture of them. Great comparison between single LED and the Tri-CREE, I do notice the difference between the color, the Tri-CREE doesn't fade out like the single does and the bloom around the emitter does look much brighter as well. I think the covertec swap was a good idea, really brings the silver one out more on the Dominix and the same with the black one on the Aeon, I can actually see it without having to look for it.
Point for Motivation Monday, I sure needed it.

I'll have to find the coupler to put them together. Indeed, that saber was a prize. I also got a grab bag in that order, and it wound up being one of my ultimate favorite sabers, my Aeon LE V4. I think I also got a free blade plug for ordering. It was a great raffle order, even without getting a bonus saber. |

I agree with you in regards to the ultimate favorite saber, I absolutely love the Aeon V4! I'll also admit, I've seen V2 and V3 Phantasm and Phantom staffs and have to say that I want to one of them in the future. They're so classic looking and I bet they spin and duel very well!

I didn't realize how much brighter the tri was until SFD made the comparison sitting them both side by side myself. I am glad as well, Gumby. You and SFD are two of the few that I chat with on a daily basis so it's refreshing to see you two up and about early in the AM. We should make this a tradition. Yes, an orange in the morning is a very healthy choice. Just ask Darth Midnight... I've never thought of the FO in the Guardian, Gumby. It looks outstanding in FO and Darth Midnight appears to be comfortable around it. Have a point for that, brother. Up early? I haven't gone to bed yet. Love the Guardian in orange, that's sweet.
