a few quick questions.

Hello everyone, i have a few quick questions about the Aeon saber and the standard issue saber.

First off, is it possible to put an AV button on either of these? and will it be flush mounted if i do?
secondly, are either of these sound compatible? right now i mainly want them for costume/dueling and don't really need sound, however if compatible i would consider it in the future.
and lastly, do either of these sabers use the LED module sold separately by ultra? as in can i buy a led module with a different color and use quick disconnects to swap them.

thats a tall order.
Ok 1. The Aeon and the Standard issue have a 7/16'' switch hole. The AV switch needs at least a 9/16'' hole to fit. You will need to drill a larger hole. (not a big problem) The AV switch should be flush with hilt surface if there is enough room in the hilt.
2. Both don't have a sound option you could : 1. do it yourself 2. e-mail [email protected] and ask them to do it. The standard issue is a little to small for sound ( i'm not saying it can't be done ). The Aeon has more room for electronics. I'm not sure if the speaker that Ultra Sabers offers will fit in to these sabers. The inside diamiter of the hilt might be smaller than the diamiter of the speaker.
3. You would need to drill holes in the pommel for the sound to escape or get a diffrent pommel that already has holes in it.
4.The LED module will not work.(will not fit) You can have the disconects added and just change the LED the module isn't needed with these hilts.

EDIT: both sabers will need to be completly disassembled to change the LED because they don't have a screw on emmiter. the switch must be removed and unsoldered before the LED can be removed out the rear of the hilt. Once again contact [email protected] and ask them.

Just so you know, the new USB Obsidian Sound option is much smaller, so there's a chance they might be able to put that in at least the Aeon for you if you shoot them an email and ask? Just speculation, it doesn't hurt to ask though.
