Button deco

So I'm beginning the process of tricking out my Initiate v3, I've decide I want to do the following with it...

Some form of wrap (leather perhaps?) around the button section, mostly to break up the silver
Ink wash detailing of the recessed 'rings'
Hoseclamp mount for a D ring

I have just the standard button (not AV) and would like to make it stand out more than it does , What do you all suggest?

Could work. You could also add an accessory button somewhere if you want. Another cool thing to do would be to add brown leather, but add some o rings for like a sword type grip. That's what I might do to mine once I get my new Lee Filters in. Using o rings and brown thin leather. Just gotta figure out how to attach the leather to the saber. Doing the bottom portion though. Its an Aeon V3 saber. Like when you add the leather wrap it around twice the button in like a cris cross pattern.

I would suggest a shroud of some sort. Perhaps if you are able to work with sink tubing or PVC.
