I'm surprised none of the winners went with Chosen One CE and/or Graflex CE. Don't think it makes the coolest staff, but as far as premium sabers go they're hard to beat. Biggest bang for your buck not to mention resale value as they are recognizable as the vader/Luke style sabers if you really ever had to part. Personally I would have went with Papabears idea and done dual Raven SS because as twin sabers go, you can either dual wield as the Badass himself, or staff up and have a really nice looking staff.

I decided on a dual Guardians with SRD and AS FoC. I think the Guardian will look very cool as a double-bladed saber.  That is going to be a massive staff! Looking forward to pics of it! |

This is so amazing! Gotta throw out my thanks to US for such a great contest, and such a great raffle! I know I am going to make sooo many enemies here, considering I just got my first saber, an Azure Reaper, about a month ago! But hey, a Sith's gotta do what a Sith's gotta do. I guess the Dark Side just has its own tricks, right?
So the Azure Reaper is for my Jedi outfit I will be wearing to Gencon in August. Then I had to get a red hilt with red blade to cross on my walls, and complete the display. Have to make Howard Wolowitz jealous, right?!? So when I saw the raffle, I decided to get the Crimson Scorpion now, rather than waiting til next year. Turns out to be a good call. Maybe the Dark Side was guiding me.
So now for the decisions, decisions. Really? An Emerald double saber? My first instinct on a double bladed saber, just to be hands down sleek and bad as is entirely possible, is going to have to be a pair of Ravens with the SS claws. I mean come on! How much more lethal-looking can you get?
Hopefully pics of my entire saber family will be up soon! Thanks to everyone, and thanks once again to UltraSabers!
A pair of Ravens!?! Awesome choice! I think the Raven is one of my fav sith hilts! Can't wait to see, she'll be a stellar set up! |

I had considered the Graflex and the Chosen One, but I decided that it was best to go with a saber that would make an excellent staff. I felt that going for the top priced sabers just to have them didn't feel right. I'll definitely be buying one or the other in the future, though. |

In my experience, along with a blade, you should also receive a charger too. I won a first prize once, and it came with a battery charger. It was also how I came about my first UE blade.  |
