Hey, Sedsti, are any of the plastics that Shapeways uses just a glossy, smooth black color? Do you need to paint all of these finishes or are there some that would look good to just bolt 'em right on?

None of them are really glossy. The White and Black Detail plastics have somewhat of a sheen to them, but the rest of the plastics are matte colors. The Detail Plastics are only available for some models due to it being more fragile than the Strong and Flexible plastics. The polished ones are all smooth though, so they have a clean texture to them. You can get all the colors polished except black though unfortunately. |

I would need one because that costume I have turns out to be Obi-wan's ROTS costume so. All I need is a better quality belt, caps, comm link, proper Obi-wan boots, and so on. Would be cool if you made one though. Just a thought really. =]

The flat top one is Blade Plug 12. I would also suggest looking at Blade Plugs 5, 10, and 13. |
