I got bored, and saw some things laying around. I had an old flashlight, and a thread bobbin.



The Flashlight, gutted. It didn't work, anyways.



The bobbin. Steel.





The bobbin put in the flashlight head.




Masking tape is a magical substance. This is to fill space, and allow the retention screw to grip the thing. I will be looking for a better way to do this.





Looks like SRD because the hole pattern in the bobbin diffuses the colouring.

Now, this is my first crack at it. It'll still blind you, and doesn't sit even, but I will be working to fix those eventually.

Not bad at all.  I like all the windows in it, and TPM going on in the background.  Tongue
Is there a film or something you could put inside of it to diffuse the light a little more?

Have a point for creativity. I agree with Molina00 about adding something to diffuse the light.

I said it before, I'll say it again. Masking tape is a magical substance. I laid a piece down in the neck of the flashlight, behind the bobbing, and it prevent blindness very well without destroying the brightness.
