I think I read a post or something from Emory stating that for a small fee, they'll cut your blade to what ever length you spec.  This is true. I have had blades cut down to 28" for $5 each. |

Me too. For now I was thinking an Emerald Shock, some other guy parts and a can of white spray paint.
I don't know if I would do spray paint. If you could DIY one yourself, I'd get it powder coated if possible. PC has a greater durability and looks amazing, but it has to be baked. |

something that would be very useful to those of use from outside the USA, would the option of having the charger supplied with an adaptor (USA to country X) for which ever country you're from
only realised this morning that the charger would have an American plug and its dam hard to find adaptors in the UK that converted form a foreign plug to a UK plug

Yeah because some day I want to live in Japan and I wouldn't know where to find an American adapter. So do batteries from other countries work in the sabers as well if you have stunts like I do? Like say I do move to Japan, bring all my stuff with me, which I plan to do anyway because I'm sure there's some of us out there too. Just a dream for now though

so long as it delivers an appropriate voltage and current, any battery is fine. The only difference would be the holder required, but the reason US use AAA size batteries is because they're standardised, they're available in most (if not almost all) countries.
With the Li-on, the issue would be the voltage of your mains electricity, but again, one can find adapters and transformers online easy enough. If you can deliver yourself to japan, you can certainly deliver a wall adapter from amazon.

Ooo a suggestion box. I would say something that looks like Ezra's lightsaber, but I see a thread already exists just for that  Otherwise, maybe a design that's fett/mandalorian style saber hilt. I've been slapping "fett designs" on just about anything. Example, here's a power ranger morpher with fett stuff for those children of the 90's  |
