So my new Archon came in today!  Love the new saber. Its super comfy to grip and a great spinner too. Don't know why I didn't get one sooner. I got the thick neck version because I plan on doing some dueling with this one and I just thought it looked cooler. The only thing that did confuse me a bit was the retention screw inside shape now, its round so yeah, one of my other friends has this as well so mine wasn't stripped or anything. Did anyone else get the new rounded retention screw shape? Also my blade came with threaded tip even though I didn't request it, bonus, ours seems better though  I'll get to a video later. The Archon V2.1 is possibly my favorite new saber. I like everything about it. I'm probably the only one who went kind of canon with the V2.1 I like how you can make the saber your own still though even though it resembles Luke's saber from Return Of The Jedi a bit. So onto some pictures for now. I took the pictures with my phone so that's why the blade seems a bit better looking, my phone always takes better pictures The hilt:  Hilt detail close up:  Hilt detail close up with blade on:  Consular Green Heavy Grade blade:  Emitter close up with blade on:  Emitter close up with blade on:  Felt this saber had to be in Consular Green:  Randomly selected blade plug:  Some select shots to finish off with:  Came threaded like I said:  So overall 100 out of 100 for me My favorite new saber. I felt the Archon saber had to be in green so yeah. I now have a different color finally. Video review to come later. I know that's not a real score but that's how much I like my new saber I'll post a pic with the saber with the blade plug in if we can find rounded type wrenches |

Would also like to point this out, the set screw is more rounded on the inside now. Is this now normal on all sabers?? Or is it possibly stripped somehow? Don't see how though since its a whole new saber. Not bashing or nit picking though, just wondering about if its a new set screw shape?  |

Okay yeah this is normal then. Got conformation the screws are more cupped now than hexed like before so yeah. I freaked out at first though because I thought the screw was stripped at some point already somehow |

I might just swap mine over for a change And, have you got a black vented coupler? . . . looks and works great on the Archon v2.1 and a neck / choke piece  |

Also going to be doing a video review my time later. I still don't have my dentures yet but I don't really care about the trolls/haters on regular YouTube so yeah. I know the saber forums wont care or judge of how I still look right now. Like I said the only thing that threw me off was the new set screw shape but uh, Corey said those are normal on all sabers now so. Also couldn't do the Tri set up but its still plenty bright anyway =] Will be using my new Archon for The Force Awakens next week so expect some cool before and after movie pictures

Are smooth inside set screws normal now or did mine come stripped somehow?? Here's a better picture of it. I did email US about it but I don't have the time to send my saber back x.x So post if anyone else has this type of set screw now. Just kind of confusing is all. Tried some allen wrenches I have but non of them would get a grip on the sides at all. Gotta get that tightened before TFA in case any duels break out before and after the movie Or if I'm invited to any after parties  |
