Greetings,

My son is getting his first Ultrasaber for Christmas this year. I bought it back when I purchased my Prophecy saber.  I did not want to put his in a tube or in the shipping box or even just sitting out with a big bow tied around it.  So, I decided it needed to be in a box.

Now before you go and start thinking I got the idea from TFA, I did not!  I have been planning this for some months now.

Here is the box.  It is all solid wood.  The body is Maple and the trim is Dark Walnut. The box is 4" x 4" x 41.75".



The top comes off like a crate top would only it is a press fit instead of needing nails or screws.



The interior material is layers of 5/8" foam cut to fit the inside and around the saber.  The velvet flap and lining is a cotton velvet I had left over from another project.  The saber is removed at the pommel end by reaching a finger down and under the pommel and lifting up.
