Footage shot! Now I have to get it all edited because for both videos, I have over 45 minutes of footage that now needs to be processed. I did not do all 45 minutes back-to-back, but my saber video came up to 28 minutes of raw footage, with me talking the whole time. And let me tell you, being suited up like that, with the helmet on, TALKING the whole time...I proved that I am indeed full of hot air!!!  There was NO WAY I could've held out doing that when my stomach was upset. And I'd be willing to bet that some people under ANY conditions would've dropped to the ground from that, so as I've always said about this costume, just because I have the heat resistance for something like that does NOT mean most people should attempt to do what I did. I'll get the footage edited and try to get it posted as soon as possible. If I'm lucky and I can figure out the editing software, it'll be tomorrow.  |

Hi, frolof here. We've shared words before. I came to ask you a question I would loved answered as quickly as possible! When you asked for flamberge crossblade cuts, you wanted them cut to 4" inches right? Are these 4" of exposed crossblades or 3" of exposed crossblades? Since it takes up an inch when you put the inside the saber. The rest of the costume is on order and is currently scheduled for shipping 26 February 2016, which should hopefully have it arriving to me in early March. Given that, I'm not expecting to hear from the costumer for a few weeks at least. All that can be done on my end is now complete, so there won't really be any further updates until I get final word on a ship date. I did get the pics you asked for in the other thread though...it doesn't show it the way I see it exactly, but you can see how the light of the saber becomes a bit more diffuse through the visor. Normal:  From inside mask:  As you can tell from looking at the wall, too, I can see in front of me well enough to navigate. |

You're correct that it's less than 4 inches showing...it's something between 3" and 3.25 inches of visible blade on each side.
