I am thinking of making my own saber with flash on clash. To do this I need a tri-color with one of the colors being white. Has anyone tried to mix two other colors to create a yellow?

I am planning on using a NB with a power Xtender for the sound w/ flash-on-clash

Couldn't you swap out the white diode for an amber one to get the yellow?

Curious about battery life on a AAA battery setup with Tri-LED and Obsidian Lite? Check this thread:

The amber is more orange than yellow. I also need the white diode for the clash color

Also does anyone know what kind of LED the sentinel yellow is? I was thinking I could buy one without flash-on-clash and modify it for a white clash. Any problems with that?

Bellator - It's a combination of Green & Red diodes.  You need to tune it to Yellow via resistors on the LEDs.

Winning? Is that what you think it's about? I'm not trying to win. I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It's not because it's fun. God knows it's not because it's easy. It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind! It's just that. Just kind.

I've made a custom LED from Luxeon before. If you are good with soldering (this is harder than soldering wires in my opinion), you can go to

I did Lime - 313, Lime - 313, Deep Red - 640 mW and I got a little too light of a yellow.

Try getting Lime - 313, Red - 106, and 6500k cool white - 220

would that cool white be used for the yellow or for the flash-on-clash color?

Being a student with no income, and the hilt costing so much. I was wondering if anyone knew of a color combo that worked for them/friend or if they knew of a LED color testing website so I could make a reasonably good yellow the first time around.
