Hey all! So I've noticed that many people don't know how to correctly pronounce "Iram". I think there are technically 2 correct pronunciations . But anyways, I decided to make it a game. So, how do you pronounce "Iram"? (Please give a detailed pronunciation  ) Iram |

(Please give a detailed pronunciation ) Iram It depends on if you are interested in it being easy for English speakers to guess, in which case it's EYE-rum, rhyming with "Hiram," or if you want it to be authentically Latin, in which case it would be "EE-rahm" (extra points for rolling the "r" just a touch, and try to avoid drawing out the vowels as long as an English speaker would. (If you've heard the Spanish "i" and "a," that's the basic idea.) |

I was definitely thinking "EYE-Rum" but now I am convinced by the Latin pronunciation, "EE-rrom"
