They finally managed to get the Punisher right
They finally managed to get Elektra right

How cool was it seeing ninjas in New York, especially that rooftop, shot in episode 13 with hundreds of them running around?

What exactly was the reason for the really big hole?

Continued great portrayal of the Kingpin. Even better this time round.

As a whole, i found this season's storytelling to be more cohesive, more streamlined and interwoven and far better paced than season 1. They continued the great performances from season 1 and the new cast brought some much needed moral dilemmas for our hero.

So many more fight scenes, which were really well choreographed, although i think the highlight was the Punisher in the cell block fight. That was the equivalent of the hallway fight from season 1.

All in all, marvel/netflix have done it again and i cannot wait for Luke Cage.

This may sound a little grim, but I immediately thought the hole was for a mass grave. I can't remember who dug it, whoever it was though (Yakuza of The Hand?) I thought they might be preparing for a war. However, a 40 story hole filled with bodies sounds a little ridiculous.

I totally agree about the Cell Block fight. At first it seemed they had topped the Hallway fight when DD took out the bikers in the stairwell, but then Frank (pun intended) blew me away.  Cool

Thoroughly enjoyed this season. The dialogue was a little stinted at times, but superior to the first season.
Loved the portrayal of Elektra and Punisher.

Excited for Luke Cage.

The hole I doubt was for something as Mundane as a mass grave.  Probably connected to what ever "Black Sky's" power is.  I guess I am the only one who did not care for Elektra.  While it was certainly a step up from Jennifer Garner's performance..it just didn't endear itself to me.  Creating the "Black Sky" for the MCU then changing Elektra's origin to be said Black Sky is just an odd move to me.  I at first thought Black Sky was the MCU version of 'The Beast" but now I am not sure.  But, I do like Bernthal as Frank.

I totally agree and after watching through again I still can't figure out what it could be for.

Maybe to get to the big stone sarcophagus they stuck Elektra in...
