My new saber stuff came in a UPS box after all the other day so that wouldn't really count for me  Next to do is your Prophecy if you haven't already unless I missed it like always I'm sorry you don't have a proper box, mate, maybe next time!  Just don't be jealous when I say I'll get another one possibly tomorrow! LOL! Great review Medwyn, very informative. Tell me....do you like your Cardboard Brown Flash on Clash? How about your printed shipping label AV switch?
The shipping label switch is fantastic! It has a dim sensor and - imagine! - it gets darker as it gets dark outside. At midnight you can't see it at all while it shines at noon! |

I have just been pointed in the direction of this review. Im so sorry I missed it at the time.
This is without doubt the best review I have ever seen.
medwyn's review should be held up as a lesson in how to do a review in the correct manner.
I feel I must just add a technical update to this otherwise perfect review of the 46" x 4"x 4" Box. I can only assume that box related technology has moved on in the 6 months since the review went live. Evidenced by my unboxing today via the emmiter end. The internal components were very tightly packed.Weighing in at over 4 kg's it seemed improbable that all the internals of the box could indeed be present.
But yes they were all there using a combination of small bubble type material & clear sticking tape were 4 .yes Four full size lightsabers(one of which sported a whopping 40" blade) plus another full size 36" extra blade, a coupler, a vc2plus charger & a blade plug.. Amazing Box technology, that should be applauded.
After all that the box is still in full functioning box order.
Thanks to medwyn again for the original Video review.

I'm going to go out on a limb here & suggest that what you have could be a rare v5 box with single saber removable insert. You can see that my box  Only has a 2 label setup. Similar to medwyn's but with a yellow/gold accented label around the middle of the box in addition to the seemingly standard emmiter label. Not sure where I stand on box tech now! Oh & another picture of my box(labels front)  Note the optional wife in dressing gown ducking her head(top right spotty.Gown that is not wife) who I would have cropped from picture had she not screamed at me to do just that. Food for thought indeed.I notice that the faded brown colour does seem standard throughout the range though. |

My latest order arrived holding two sabers inside (Prophecy & Aeon), amongst other things, and seems to be of a still different configuration. Notice the label on the side of the hilt, rather than in-line with the rest of the labels. I wonder if that's because of the weight of the internals, the nature of the internals, or because it had to come to Hoth.  Here's a close-up of one of the emitter labels:  |
