The Bane really is a great saber. I love mine. It came yesterday and I can't put it down. My first with V4 sound. I've got the Sith sound loaded currently.
Nice choice, the sith sound suits it well, the blackstar too, but you start getting mad with it when you have it on for a while...  |

Great pics all around! I've always liked the Bane in SY and it looks great in FO as well. Definitely did not realize how long it was though! And with RGB that thing is quite beastly  |

About an inch and a half I would say. It holds the blade very securely and the emitter is very solid too. There's a groove in it that holds it in the end of the hilt as well as the knurled knob and hex screws. It's a very solid saber and as big as it is, not too heavy for dueling. I have trouble spinning it, but I have small hands. Someone with larger hands could probably spin it will. |

That emitter could do some damage if it accidentally struck your opponent's hand. |

But I will be getting a black guarded switch, Tri guardian blue, a silver covertec weel and will probably get a knurled red switch cover from sedsti skyfaller...oh and quickly disconects too...the bane's pommel will be for my sentinel v4. I'm looking at using a Prophecy pommel to shrink both the weight and the length, since I like the katana look (as I mentioned in my intro post, I practice katana swordplay, though not strictly a Japanese style).

I like the katana look too. It's a very cool saber. As big as it is, I find it a good two handed dueling saber even with my small hands. |
