So, yeah, I just got my shipping notification on my Fulcrum! I'll have this bad boy in just a few short days! Woohoo! It sure caught me by surprise, though, as I didn't expect any raffle entries to ship until Friday. I have 2 more raffle entries that are still processing, so maybe they're just gonna hold those til Friday. Anyone else get a shipping notification yet for either their Fulcrum or Lost Gray?

Thanks, LJ. Well, here's the thing... I ordered the Bellicose early on when the Autumn Raffle was first announced, and honestly didn't know if I'd be buying any more before the raffle would end, so for me that order was always going to be separate. If I were to order 3 together right now, the shipping is $1 more, so definitely less shipping to do them together. For me I would have saved about $23 in shipping to order them the Fulcrum and Lost Gray together vs. separate, but that extra chance to WIN something, which never happens for me, and I think the universe could change its mind this time, possibly one of the top prizes, definitely outweighed the shipping cost. Besides, I like them to have them shipped individually anyway, less chance that FedEx can damage them by mishandling them and have them bash together - notwithstanding the ample bubble wrap that US packs them in there with. I mentioned this before in another topic, but one poor guy got the pommel on his Electrum Wind chipped really bad because of the Scorpion that was shipping in the same package with it. |

Marlena at UltraSabers support answered some questions on the Fulcrum I ordered and said she got to play with it a bit and loved how slick it was and said she'd have to get herself a set, too! This looks like another incredibly strong entry into the US lineup. BTW, on a separate note... I saw your Consular review and really liked your idea of having them put on a silver bezel with the black illuminated AV switch. That really put an extra nice touch on it. I almost did that on the Lost Gray that I ordered, but decided to leave it black bezel with red illuminated black AV switch. It's definitely something I'd love to try on a future purchase, though, so thanks for showcasing your config on that. |

Out of curiosity, where in the world are you? I think in the past US have shipped locally ahead of the raffle draw, and I once got an order (in the UK) that I ordered basically on day 1 of the raffle. |

If so (I dont have a saber with a port) does this port also connect to emerald color & obsidian sound? My question has probably been answered multiple times elsewhere but thought I would take a punt on the thread for these lovely sabers. They are so beautiful ! I intend to get them both, but just checking my options. Other people's opinions are always important in this community . Recharge ports, yes to both. The ports are for charging only. The Emerald and sound boards have mini/micro USB sockets mounted directly on the board - they're accessed by taking off the pommel and sliding out the battery pack which the card(s) will be attached to. |
