Sometimes I like to browse the names to see who's online at the bottom of the main forum page and saw this:
"Most Online Today: 2704. Most Online Ever: 27655 (January 14, 2020, 09:30:12 AM)"
Wow, does anybody remember why January 14th of this year was so special? I don't remember precisely what the old record was but I'm pretty certain it wasn't anywhere close to that number of people in the forum on the same day.

That drama right there ensured I will never join the 501st....that and I've heard that some of their garrisons are not particularly LGBTQ+ friendly. The girlfriend is non-negotiable, she'll be around so better get used to having a lesbian couple nearby. Also their standards are off the chart, and I don't have the money to dump into a costume to meet them.
Saber Guild on the other hand...I'm trying to actually join them, but no money for costuming right now.
well, if we ever get a chapter in your area you are more than welcomed. If I have to be the bad guy if anyone else has a problem with you.....I'm ok with that. |

I mentioned this very thing to some forumers a few months ago (possibly January), and we didn't know then why, though we probably had some speculation. I don't remember now. Saso, the previous record had been 24k+ from 2014 IIRC. So I agree about the timing of renewed interest coinciding almost a month afterwards to be remarkable The previous record was from right before TFA was released. I don't remember what the official record was, but I was thinking it was closer to 20K+, either way, for some reason, on January 14th we blew the record out of the water. |

The Fight with Ozai and the Agni Kai between Zuko and Azula is by far some of the most beautiful animation ever put on screen. |

Currently making my way through Legend of Korra for the first time myself. While its not quite as "legendary" quality as AtLA, its still a fantastic show in its own right
IMO it started out good but it seemed like it didn't know where it wanted to go. One fan speculation is because Aaron Ehasz, who was head writer on A:TLA did not return for Korra. He did however start his own studio and their first series, The Dragon Prince, is 3 seasons in on Netflix and being highly praised....the lead character is even voices by Jack DeSena who voiced Sokka. Once you finish Korra I recommend it highly. |
