So I did it. I ordered my Flamberge.
I was so excited that in the middle of the PayPal stuff I cancelled out the first time because I wasn't sure I had the shipping address right. Which meant I wound up with two order numbers from US (wrong) but only one PayPal payment (right).
Hopefully their system will purge the unpaid duplicate soon since common sense for a business would be not to put something in production with no payment, but I still emailed Corey (the guy I've been working with at US) just to let him know which was the correct order and not to run the other order.

Seems US' system straightened itself out and purged the duplicate order without anyone having to do anything, so it looks like I'm in business. Now for the wait, which will still not be that long compared to my robes, which I do not expect to receive until early March. If I can get my helm handled in the next week or so (weather permitting for the outdoors work), then I'll be able to rest easy as I'll have no more work on my end to do. |
