Oat bran is great for people who tolerate grains well. It has lots of soluble fiber!
I'm not one of those, so I try to keep it to a couple slices of sprouted grain or one loaf of pita bread(in the context of a sandwich) every three or so days. Grains screw with my stomach, so more than that is too much. |

YAY! After what was a sh!tty start to the week, I just heard that my aunty is in remission!  She was diagnosed with leukemia on Christmas Eve and went into hospital for 4 weeks of intensive treatment immediately after Christmas. It has been a pretty stressful time, especially since I have had a few other friends in and out of hospital in that time plus still more going through surgery, and on top of all that my telecommunications provider has been stuffing my accounts up reckoning I owe them $200 that was their mistake and I've had constant hassles with that... on top of multiple large bills that have been cropping up all at once (isn't that always the way?) So so glad she has whooped cancer's butt! Another aunty on the other side of the family had surgery for breast cancer just before Christmas, a childhood friend has bowel cancer, and a highschool friend also has bowel cancer. I've had enough of friends and family having cancer  |
