My school does paper plates awards for the staff at the end of each year. It's a fun way to kind of summarize how the year went in the eyes of other staff members. For example, on my team a teacher is very artistic and also works part time for a catering company, and she'd bring us the leftovers for lunch, so I gave her the "Marth Stewart" award. Another teacher got the "Dory Award," because she'll completely change topics mid-sentence. My first year, I got the "Big Kid Award." Everyone in my family agreed with it. |
