NO! Absolutely not. We have already experienced enough horror from animation - live action movies. The crowning jewel of such terror actually going to TLAB. Love it for what it is, and stop creating nightmares about what it could be. Seeing Cena play Toph "sounds like tough" would be funny, but not at the risk of another disaster.

I think it is less of trying to improve on the already perfect original, and more of trying to give people more Avatar content to enjoy as well as reach that audience that loves fantasy and would love the show except that they wont/don't watch animated things for whatever reason. I'm completely down for it. Plus the original creators of A:TLA are returning to make the show. So because I finish A:TLA the other night, I decided to watch the abomination to see how bad it was. I'm not going to lie, there were some things that were genuinely good about the movie. Most was utter trash, but the soundtrack was spectacular, and many of the visuals were really good. But other than that, it was baaaad. THEY COMPLETELY LEFT OUT SUKI!! |
