How does the Prophecy look with that pommel.

You totally copied my Order, from the DVA blade to the hyper low profile pommel (different purchase, but for this hilt).

Good taste I guess. 

I think it's hilarious.  Not sure why, spur of the moment, I decided on that, I had been intending SRD flash to AB, but I ended up selecting DVA/VA.

I also had been intending on getting first diamond in a Consular, which would have been a bit cheaper.  But finally getting a Prophecy with sound and color changing driver won out.

A year ago when I purchased a Dark Prophecy for a friend all I could find that looked good for a black hilt with sound was the Councilor pommel.

That's the one I used on my mine for months after I got it. I put the Archon Pommel on my Consular with the shroud. The EH pommel is so perfect. I just ordered another black one for my Dark Prophecy since the one in my picture was borrowed from the EH.

Not a silly question at all. The raffle doesn't end until midnight Central time on Tuesday, April 11th, and only after that time will they actually do the raffle drawing. One of my raffle entries shipped today, too, and it usually means that they probably need the storage space with all the orders that they've been trying to hold for the raffle. As long as you entered the coupon code, SPRINGRAFFLE, and your forum name in the order comments, then you're 100% still in the running for ANY of the prizes. they've been holding raffle orders?! O.O i've been obsessively refreshing the orders page for nearly two weeks now anxiously waiting for the shipping to be updated, i wish i'd've known that! i got on to post a joke about how today i was feeling like harry being told there's no post on sundays.

also, potentially another silly question, do multiple raffle entries mean increased chance of winning, or multiple chances of winning?(subtle difference i know, but i mean is it possible to place twice.)

In theory, yes.  You'd added another paper with your name on it to the hat.   But you have also increased the total number of names in the hat.

so if they pull out my name twice they wouldn't toss the second and draw again? has anyone ever won twice would i think be another good way of asking this? also, i just read your sig, you've given away(i assume that's what gifted means) more than twice the number of sabers you own,...and one of the sabers you own you don't even have yet, and you've given out some NICE sabers,...i,...i don't know if i respect, envy, or on some level despise you or some other unfathomable emotion(joking, i don't despise you in any way shape or form.)

People have won twice in a single raffle.  I don't know if they have internally changed any rules to prevent that or not, but there was a double winner last year at the very least.

As for the gifts.    Many of them were raffle entries to see if I'd win anything.  I haven't so far.   The first was a pair of grab bags I gave to a pair of friends that go to conventions.   I later sent them in for upgrades during another sale or raffle.  I got one of the v2 lightsabers for free with that order.  I have that one to one of by other friend's seven year old son.  The two really nice Emerald Sabers were on sale (10% off) I gave to a friend who I was best man at his wedding.  He got the Renegade, she got the Graflex.  The second v2 came free with that set, which I gave to their older son so he could match his seven year old brother's v2 from earlier.   I gave the parent the two better sabers so they could defend themselves from their own children.  If the two v2 free sabers had been v3s, I would have offered to have them upgraded for sound at some point.  But them being v2 without sound is probably better for the parents.

The Dark Prophecy I had ordered during an earlier raffle to see what the Obsidian LITE was like and was for another convention goer, also as a combined birthday/Christmas present.  It was on backorder for a very long time.  I had ordered it before I sent the first two grab bags to be upgraded as Christmas presents.  It arrived last of all these sabers.   I still have a plan to give a couple a Fulcrum/Lost Grey pair as wedding present in another year and a half.  I am getting the Diamond Archon for myself as an upgrade, but also to see it the tech would suit that wedding present, or if something less would be more effective.

These pictures were taken quite literally the day before I was to start handing them back to people.  The two refitted with Sound went one weekend, the other four the weekend after than.  The Prophecy waited another month before it got to the hands of its new master.  I only have the two (Archon v3 and Apprentice v4/w Archon pommel) here presently.

oh! you got the renegade emerald with silver sides (guessing for color filters to match the emerald modifications.) but i've been meaning to ask, does the saber look goofy in your opinion with mismatched colors for the blade and guard? IE if you had a CG blade and SRD guard would that be silly looking do you think? for the record you're a HELL of a lot more altruistic than i am, and bravo for it, granted i have a minimum wage job, so if i get a 400-500 dollar product i can't afford to give it away.

i know, i just won't be one of them ^^ helps that i only have one friend really and what i own, he owns as well for all practical purposes. the thing that gets me more about it was that he only owns 3 sabers, one of which he just bought, and has given away 7,...that's crazy to me, but awesome definitely awesome, and some damn good reasons to give away such awesome sabers

I have only seen it once with the color discs in, and they were a pale red compared to the main blade.   I never put them in myself.  We fiddled with the main blade color a little last time, but his batteries were low.  It looks a little odd, but with an Emerald you can, at least in theory, match the side blades color discs and thus keep the entire unit with a flicker/pulse if you keep the fourth channel (or whatever channel you have US assign to the side blades).

Color is a personal aesthetic thing  Different people find things pleasing.   SRD side blades with CG main might look fine.  Other people will tweak on it for not being exactly the same color.  

 I wish the Diamond had the ability to change the side blades color.  Not only for those that want matching blades with the pulse feature, or be able to change colors on the fly, but also for those that like to mismatch their blades completely.  Imagine a saber with a red main blade, a yellow right side blade, and a purple left side blade, that pulse to completely different colors from each other on lockup.  The red hits with an Orange as normal, but the yellow pulses to green and the purple pulses to blue.  That would not only be weird, it also make cause a rave party to happen.
