Thanks for the unboxing vid, Prowl. That's a great saber. I have a Dominix LE V4 and I love it, it's one of my favorite spinning sabers. Guarding Blue goes great with the black and silver, and that AV switch is nice too. Not bad at all for $75.  |

Thanks Obese Wan Kenobese! Definitely standard setup on my Arbiter then. Another thing I was curious about is if the silver non-illuminated switch will work with sound should I decide to upgrade in the future.
Most AV switches US uses are momentary switches and thus only suitable for sound sabers, with one exception: sabers with an activation box. Those can also be equipped with an AV switch when ordering them without sound. The reason is that the latching AV switches required for stunt sabers are slightly longer and wouldn't fit the normal saber body without an activation box. |

Actually, I think they have finally found a way around that. I have a Dark Ini V4 with latching AV, no box. |

Okay - I had to take my delivery into our IT room where very few people have access so I could unbox (I could not wait until I got home!). I will upload pictures when I do get home. I ordered 2 $200 mystery boxes and a $75 mystery box. $200 #1: - Dark Initiate LE v4 with Obsidian Lite Sound
- Consular Green
- FoC (Silver)
- Black AV Switch
- Standard Setup
$200 #2: - Reaper with Obsidian Lite Sound
- Fire Orange
- FoC sound, but the color looks to be FO as well (is this possible?)
- AV switch (can't remember if it was black or silver)
- Standard Setup
$75: - Initiate v4
- Guardian Blue
- Silver AV switch
The only thing I notice is the pommel on the $75 saber is very scratched up and has marks all over it. I did not think the mystery boxes were to have the potential for rough parts. |
