Second saber, first official review.  First impression: AWESOME! The Prophecy V3 is visually stunning. Its silver color is really very beautiful. I remember thinking, 'Like a blank canvas, you could do all kinds of things, paint, tape, leather, etc' but no, I don't think I'll modify this saber in any way, shape or form. It is perfect just the way it is. The saber is very light with a mid-grade blade (which also shows off the Dark Violet Amethyst quite nicely, btw) and it is perfectly weighted for one hand or two. The Obsidian sound is very impressive, as usual. The Flash on Clash option is very cool, I went with Silver, and it looks magnificent. I also ordered an extra mid-grade blade (for my Bellicose, replacing the original heavy-grade blade) which came with a plastic end-cap, and a pair of extra Li-ion batteries. The batteries were contained in a plastic container, which will come in very handy for transport, storage, whatever. A big thank you to UltraSabers, btw, for switching to FedEx shipping. The delivery driver was very polite, verifying my identity while getting my signature for the package. The package was in very good condition, unlike some of the photos found elsewhere in the forum. The saber arrived at my house early in the morning, so I didn't have to wait anxiously all day. All in all, I am VERY pleased with this purchase and recommend the Prophecy V3 for anyone who wants a really beautiful, light-weight saber. (A photo, beside my Bellicose for size comparison!  )  |

So basically same saber but it handles better because of the added length?

Yeah, I think so. I'm 5'7(and a 1/2) and the hilt fits my hand perfectly. Balance is really great on it. 32" blades, btw, forgot to mention that.

Nice sabers! How does Obsidian sound in the Prophecy V3 saber? Does your Bellicose have Obsidian too? Is it Blazing Red or Fire Orange? I can't tell. I'm getting a Heavy Grade blade with my first Obsidian saber incase I can score my bro one because we will be doing some heavy dueling alot. xp Hes going down. Do some video of both sabers if you can. That would be cool to see them both in action. Do like a single person one man duel. xp

Both sabers have Obsidian sound. To me, it's not a saber unless it makes that sound. The Prophecy sounds great, really crisp and clear. The Bellicose is Fire Orange. It really looks great in person with the new mid-grade blade. Hopefully I can get some videos up next week. |

A truely nice saber! I picked one up with the arbiter pommel, and got a pommel similar to the one you have.

Dark Violet Amethyst is my new favorite color! I'm very tempted to get some more pommels, I'd very much like to see the Prophecy with a Bane pommel or a Dark Warglaive pommel. I've seen some pics, those are most impressive.

What? Wraith finally ran out of saber money? XD Thinkin' the Bane pommel wouldn't be a bad idea there Gekido, though I still love my V2 setup with the Archon Pommel. |

You're right, Manroon. I just went and looked at your pic again, and that looks really sharp. It seems more elegant than the Bane or WarGlaive pommels, which are kinda chunky. Why must they make it so hard to decide?! Now I'll have to think about getting more than one extra pommel, darn it. |

Honestly, I recommend you get your saber next to the computer, browse all the pommels, and wait to buy until you fall in love with one. That's what I did. Even checked TCSS. You might even consider the ace rocket mhs obi if you can find one.
Also, don't forget a portion of Constance's elegance is due to her being an old V2 CE. The reason the archon looks so good on her is the black balances well with my Nickle plating and custom knob.

You show great wisdom... I won't be ordering another saber till next year (probably in Jan. ) but when I do, I will try to have only one pommel selected. But I think I may need to order a couple of WarGlaive claws as well. Just saw the pics of the Dark Prophecies with claws, and that is a very cool look. Another Prophecy, in CG, with a coupler and some claws and I could make my staff... Heh heh heh... |

I just bought the Prophecy V3... can't wait to receive it! I noticed there's not any video review about it, i'll try to make one as soon as i get the saber! I took the V3 with ultraedge heavygrade blade adegan blue, and of course the obsidian soundboard (but no clash effect). I bought it from italy (so unfortunately 56$ just for the shipping  ) it should arrive tomorrow with fedex (about 6 days) I'll keep u informed guys Neph |
