Understandable that the few V5's delivered are probably prototypes. My 3 ordered V5 sabers are on backorder still too, September 28th and October 6th, respectively.
I'm also guessing that most of the UltraSaber employees are on vacation for this Holiday so anything in the pipeline to be built will take a bit longer. Happens all too often in online retail, which is why I usually avoid one time orders at this time of year.
Yeah, when I ordered I was expecting that the order would probably be worked after the holiday, hopefully before December 1st. :-) |

Yeah I don't know if they are prototypes are not, from looking at mine compared to the way they are supposed to look I can't tell any difference.
Of course I don't make the rules about who gets them first, the raffle winners or buyers. But my guess is it is done this way too pump up the raffles.

I am stoked about these sabers! I just ordered the following two sabers for my girlfriend for Christmas.
Not worried about her finding out because I had her pick what she wanted for the order. lol For an order that costs over a grand, I didn't want to risk getting her the wrong one. LOL She will be using them as a staff setup.
Any updates from Ultrasabers about when these will be shipped out? Just a statement that it will be shipped before Christmas would make me very happy. (^_^)

I honestly cannot wait until my V5 shows up at my door. First lightsaber purchase and I'm very excited. I got the Sentinel V5 with Consolar Green, Lite Sound, Flash on Clash, ultra edge heavy grade blade, (free blade plug), covertec clip, covertec wheel, and at 15% off. May not have been 20% off, but I got the free random blade plug, so that should be exiting.

Yes I know, but it's cheaper to by a double blade than 2 sabers, with double blade, you only pay for the UEHG blade once, and the coupler is almost free. Because I'm in France, I need to pay for the shipping even during the raffle, so even some little free stuff worth it xD |

I hear you, Darth_Ravn. I want an Apprentice V5 staff.
Using the Apprentice V4 as an example:
2X Apprentice LE V4 stunt sabers in arctic blue with 24" midgrade blades, windows and AV switches is $190. Add $9 for the coupler, that's $199.
The Apprentice LE V4 stunt staff in AB with 24" midgrade blades, windows, and AV switches is $189. That's a savings of $10, making the coupler free. Then, if you change the blade length and/or HG blade upgrade, it's an even bigger price difference.
