Hello everyone, I've decided I'm going to purchase my first US. I'm going to go for an Aeon with a blazing red 36" blade, now I was going to have it UltraEdge, but some people have said that you lose the true red (that I'm looking for), does anyone have any suggestions/ recommendations, or if they have a blazing red saber in standard and UE for a comparison? thankyou!  |

Ah, that does look one sweet saber- is the red a nice, pure red? because in the picture it looks kinda purpley- is that just the camera or is that how it looks in real life?

The wall reflection is probably a better representation. The camera is a cell phone cam, so kind of crap. But yeah, the blade is an awesome looking red in person.

Just the Camera. The blades are so bright they overwhelm the camera. http://www.saberforum.com/index.php?topic=3196.30This is a link the our "US color as seen in person." thread.  Even as good a picture as this is, it still doesn't do it justice, but you can have the Bright picture or a dim picture to see the color. I notice little bits of pink commin' through near the emitter, but it's just that, the bright friggin LED. lol Blazing Red, is very Red.  If red is what you want go BR if you're looking for something a little different but still in the red corner. You could try Pyrestone Orange. |

Hey I have a question- where does everybody get their lightsaber stands- the black horizontal ones that say star wars. Do the sabers come with them?

I pretty exclusively use heavy blades, be they ultra or standard blades, they don't really dim towards the tip. The big thing is to keep your fresh. I haven't really noticed the red pastel at all in the ultraedge blades and axctually them for the sithy colours. Hope that helps.

Those come from ForceFX sabers. However, they can be purchased on eBay... |
