I order my first official saber early July and went with the Scorpion. I know its bigger than the average lightsaber but its design is pretty cool and very sith like. As I wait for its arrival I'm starting to doubt my decision. I think I may have purchased a more cartoonish saber rather than a stylish and realistic one like the Dorinian. Any feedback from fellow scorpion saber users would be appreciated. Did I make the right choice?

Not a Scorpion owner, but I'll tell you right now it's one of the top picks on my wish list.   Nothing cartoonish about it, with or without that claw. I think you picked a good one, what blade color did you get?

Well, at the risk of making a cheap plug, LOL...if you go to the reviews page, I've got an unboxing video of my first order, there are a bunch of sabers I show off there.  But one that I'd absolutely recommend is The Fallen, full stop.  There's a long backorder for it, but it's so worth it.

I’ve actually held and swung a Scorpion at the UltraSabers booth at a con, and it’s a BEAST!  It looks absolutely gorgeous, with or without the claw, and it feels good in the hand.  Don’t second-guess your selection now, just get ready to order more sabers later, because you’ll like that one so well.

As an owner of a Scorpion staff, it is a BEAST and I love it as I am a BIG guy.

Hi bes140,

Again, I'm not an owner of the Scorpion but I did get a hands-on experience of not one but two Scorpions as a staff. The saber is a behemoth, built to last and WILL destroy your opponent  Grin

I got to spin it as a staff and as a single hilt and the saber is absolutely solid, looks great with intricate details and has an intimidation factor. It's a good one.

(I'm 6ft and around 140/150 pounds for reference)

I do have a Scorpion, the crimson version and it is my favorite Ultrasaber of all (check signature to see what others I have). It is very large but not really unwieldy. The whole overall design fits together well and the shape of the emitter and placement of the blade retention screws makes it one of the best to swap the setscrews for thumb screws without messing up the look.

You should check out that whole page, actually; I'm one of the newbie customers, there are others here who have been customers for years.

I have owned both versions of the Scorpion. It's a fantastic saber. Here's my thoughts on it.

Hi again,

I was just browsing through YouTube and found this in my "Suggested for you" list. It isn't me in the video but it is Ray Park and just check out the sabers they are using …. a Scorpion! (Oh and the staff looks familiar too)

Waiting on my Crimson Scorpion as well... First thing I'm gonna do is throw a silver Emporer's Hand Pommel on that biznitch, get rid of that goofy ball-pommel and shorten it up a bit.
