Some of the interesting aspects of the inkblot test are the other parameters you may not realize...the time it takes to respond, the facial reactions (did you smile, look away, frown, etc.), did you hesitate to respond, etc.

It is a test of reactions far more than responses.

Usually the moth is a second guess to the butterfly, showing a lack of confidence or seeking the approval of others.  But by itself it is just an answer.

You do not see the real answers until the right person is interviewing you...there are initial questions to set the mind in motion first, then questions meant to incite emotional vulnerability, etc.  Then you review the inkblots.

Once in this disarmed state you may see different images and depending on your personal issues you may see what you need to see, or in this case say...like "my mother's face" (because she died and you did not grieve or the like.

Inkblots...who would have thunk it right?

 Grin

I hate being psychoanalyzed... I would probably pull out my lightsaber and start swinging it with lethal intent at this point lol!!!

I plan on making stencils. Like I said this is just a test run, and I'm using airbrush makeup, so stencils are even more useful. Very clean lines. I might do the make up similar to one of those pictures you posted.

I use the red first, and do an all around even coating, then I rim my water line with black, and stencil on the "tattoos" however, I don't have the colored contacts yet, as they're only good for three months, and I want to use them in august, september, and october. So I won't be ordering them until late July, unless I decide to order two seperate pairs.

Sounds like you need to get something of your chest...this sort of defensive reaction is a sure sign of an emotional weight...please have a seat...better still, lay down on the couch, get comfortable...

What are you going to make the stencils out of?

Well this time I'm going to use cardboard, but eventually, when I make it to the craft store, I'll be getting the plastic sheets (the size of paper) and cutting the stencils out of them with an exacto knife. If I like this stencil I'll keep it and use it to mark my plastic stencil.

Cardboard is going to be a tough stencil material...hard to bend and seal the edges.

I have used a thin solvent proof plastic material for stencils...much like these

With the airbrush, I don't really need super exact stencils, I'm decent with it free hand, so I'm going to use the stencil as a start, and finish it with free hand. For now at least. Like I said this is just a test run.

Actually I have a fairly rare brain disorder, limited ability to sleep and a serious need to learn everything about a subject to catches my attention...it is the way I am wired...while everyone else was out partying I was in the dojo, or making a prop/sculpture, or studying some subject or another.

In the end you have this laundry list of experiences, training, and knowledge...not so many friends lol...it is a tough line trying to balance both...I have meds now to slow it all down, but that is fairly recent...but yeah it does lay out like an adventure novel sometimes lol.

That and I got started early...out of the house on my own at 16yrs old, joined military at 17yrs old (judge's order)...so it all adds up after 46yrs  Smiley

@Krysthesith...please post photos of how it turns out, I would be very interested to see the finished product:)
@Jedi Relmeob...I can empathise with you on that...when I get into something, I REALLY get into it.  Trouble is, there are so many things that catch my attention, I feel like I need 10 lifetimes to experience and learn about them all.  Hmmm...maybe I should start experimenting with Sith Alchemy.....
