Hi all!
I'm located in Vancouver, Canada.
Practice Italian and german form of historical fencing for almost 10 years., as for Iaido and Battodo for 3 years.
Trained in FDC (Fight Director Canada)level one.
Many demo in public and choreography creation with longsword and side sword, rapier/dagger.
I want to practice and come up with choreographed fights with lightsabers but in a "realistic" way.

Hi Regulus, I'm also in Vancouver... well Burnaby atm. I have no training at all other than trying to follow the form videos on youtube from terra prime. I'm looking at getting a fencing helmet and some gloves soon as well.. I'm also looking to participate in some choreographed duels as well. I'm pretty much a blank slate and would look forward to learning from someone with experience. I'm about two blocks or so up from Robert Burnaby park so there would be someplace to practice without running out of space. Anyways if you are interested let me know, Arch |

don't worry , i will show you the basics and some easy flourish.
after it's just about letting the flow guide you.
My best advice would be for you to come at my historical fencing school, Academie DUello, on 412 west hastings, where we have a full program for stage fight , on top of regular lessons with the rapier, side sword and buckler and the longsword.
We are a bunch of passionate grown up geek, so you ll be like in familly XD
Safety is the main concern and of course fun and duels!!

Yep! I'm in Chula Vista along with at least two others that I know of. I had a practice scheduled for yesterday, but everyone was busy. I'll be holding another one this coming Sunday, as long as people are free. Location still TBD. |

I'm in the UK (South Yorkshire specifically) and could use a hand to find a training partner/teacher/mentor. I've heard mention of a "map" of where people are, but have singularly failed to find it.
