I'm in Frasrer Valley, B.C, Canada. It's a pretty small town, and I know of only 1 other peson who has a Saber.
But we are very mismatched, he is far too physically strong for me to spar with. I was wondering if there is anyone else in the Fraser Valley area.

When I started out in martial arts I was constantly mismatched, people bigger, stronger, faster... Just better in general. It's actually a good thing for you, because you have an opportunity to become way better. I would kill to have a steady sparring partner who completely outmatched me for size speed and skill. |

The majority of my Judo gyms were top heavy with veteran black belts, so from an early point it was hands on by large aggressive animals.
Throw to the lions as it were.
But it developed my core and gave me a great deal of bottom time fighting my way out of sticky situations.
Welcome challenges as they will force you to grow.

Well, come next spring, the ferry will be open between here and Portland, Maine again so that'll make it easier to meet up with people such as yourself. |
