Now - HOW do I edit a post after I've posted it? Looks impossible... There's a "Modify" icon, but then it disappears after a refresh? I've been on forums like that before, didn't care for that "feature"...

Its set up so you cant mod it after the first 5 min, but if you pm a moderator with a segment you want edited in, for this post im sure they would be more than happy to accomidate you.




Wow, not much in canada at all, and its all out east! We have about 5 guys here in winnipeg so far, but i did get a pm from another person on the forums that just got into ultrasabers as well so going to hopefully meet up with him shortly right now. And we have a couple more locally that are really interested, but have yet to find the time to join us.

I think the plan right now is to just keep practicing, work on our forms, some flow dueling. velocities etc. The goal is to do something in costume, nice and flashy for C4 (central canadian comic con) this year. And maybe in a couple years time take the whole group on a roadtrip out to TO for their comic con.

Terra Prime Lightsaber Academy is in Ann Arbor Michigan, For anyone in that area.

We do everything from fight choreography to real sparring. We are primarily online right now but hoping to find saber wielders in the mitten or thereabouts.

I really like the Terra Prime videos. I have subscribed and use them on a daily basis during my practicing.

Yes, it's not just that my list includes the names of the clubs -
- it's that these clubs have forums - which contain public discussion on technique and education
- it's that these clubs have Facebooks - that you can use to follow their ongoing practices, events, and musings
- it's that these clubs have YouTube - that you can view choreographed fights, performances, educational videos, even a little sparring.

There's a gold mine of resources for you guys to dig through out there, even if you're "too far away".

For example, the Russian "saberfighting" clubs put together a "book", available at http://book.saberfighting.com . NY Jedi has their own instructional videos. And so on, and so forth. There isn't _only_ the NovaCaine DVDs out there.

I already have a monster list of instructional videos from SaberWars, I am planning on bringing it over here and combining it with every other club's instructional videos I can find. (I hesitate to include you Jedi Sentinels out in the wilds alone, we'll see.) It's in the works.
