It looks decent and has the same use as a force fx so why not. It's display piece

My only concern is not being able to open the battery compartment to charge said batteries. I mean, I wouldn't imagine this seller to display said item if we we not able to but..........

I dunno.

well, it should be sturdy enough. I would say it would be a great display piece as sort of an early lightsaber from one of the more ruthless/earthen/beast species. It is pretty interesting and you won't find many like it I would think. I do remember Vader's Vault doing one with a red LED that looked sort of like this but again, it's sculpted to look like that so it'll be one of a kind.

Well, I broke down and bought the aforementioned saber. After speaking with the dealer, he assured me that the underside of the hilt has an opening in the casing for a charge port, and I can re-charge the battery.

i like you collection allot. i just got started with the saber hobby and i hope to eventually have most of the jedi and sith from the books, movies, TV shows, ETC... (including most ultra sabers) i want to get them all. but i know there arent Force FX's for all of them so i am going to see if someone else can make me them. well im not going to talk much about other sabersmiths on the US forums.

now i really want 2 asaji ventress force FX's i did not know that they combined into a saber staff.

My new toys arrived today!

Epoch chassis with removable quartz crystal and heavy dueling blade.

A custom epoxy resin mold job. Very nice!

Both, together.

I can't believe you even received the saber you bought from saberforge. Saberforge is terrible. I ordered a blade and waited weeks and it never came. I have read dozens of cases of people never getting sabers or they get sabers that are terrible quality and rushed at best in terms of work. That is a gorgeous saber and I'm glad it works and you actually got it. I will never order from saberforge.

Just a friendly reminder but let's make sure that we stick on topic here, and keep in mind that as much as possible, the forum is for discussing Ultra Sabers' products; not advertising or even bashing others. Stuff like that runs the risk of getting people riled up and it's best just to keep everything calm and happy Smiley I agree with you though, and I only plan to order from US Smiley

Yep. Don't rustle the jimmies by bashing other brands, probably best not to discuss them at all to avoid a flame war completely Smiley

Anyways.... I actually prefer the organic look of the other saber. How's it working?

The organic saber hasn't been dueled with yet. When I purchased said saber, the retailer advised me NOT to duel with a 1" blade, but better with a 3/4", which I do not own. I have to order one.

As far as discussing Saber Forge items, I apologize if this isn't the norm here. Are we better off just discussing Ultra Sabers and the like? Or is there any kind of topic that is better left unsaid? My saber collection comes from all kinds of different retailers, is all, and I just wanted to share. Sorry for stepping on toes.

As long as you are showing your personal collection, I don't have a problem but I am not a moderator.  The problems come if you are advertising other people's products or attempting to link to their purchase sites.  As far as Saber Forge, Ultra has asked that people not ask him to upgrade or repair Saber Forge items.

I have seen pictures with people listing their Force FX and Master Replicas.  I have not read your entire post just your last post.  We do have some members that have not had great experiences with Saber Forge but as Ben and User did an excellent job of reminding that this post was about you showing your collection and not about bashing another saber smith.

Great looking sabers by the way and thanks for showing them off.

Have a great day and happy sabering.

My newest addition! This Episode II OBi-Wan piece was INSANELY hard to find, but I scored this from someone who let it go for very, very cheap! I don't think that this dealer knew what a gem he had.

Really nice collection, although I don't see the Asaaj true to the Star Wars Universe it's very neat looking =)
I noticed that you've left the stickers on your sabers, It's can raise the cost for the buyer thinking they are like new but If I were you
I would removed them since they tend to leave marks on the hilts after some time, usually beacause they are
exposed to sunlight but also because of the clue's reaction to the metall, this was something I first noticed when I bought a brand new sealed in box Luke ROTJ MR from ebay for around 200 $ some years ago, opened the box up and removed the stickers and to my surprise there
were actually marks from thoose, I could not understand how a sealed one could have left thoose.
It's really like small lines from where the stickers are attached, and the area underneath is somehow exposed.
I guess you could polish them although I tried and the marks still won't dissapear so for this you would need machining.
Just saying

Again really nice looking collection you've got there JEDI !!

May the force be with y'all
