I just ordered my saber yesterday. I don't know anyone else with one and it would be cool to meet up with someone else who has a saber so we could duel.

Cool. It might not happen anytime soon but I'll keep it in mind. Lots of people from up there come down to Fargo to shop. I guess it's not that far away lol |

Yeah I've known people to go do that.
If I ever get lonely being the only one in Fargo (I PMed the guy mentioned above and he says he can't duel due to his health) with a saber and have a lot of free time and money maybe I'll look into going up to Winnepeg. I imagine it would be a lot of fun to actually have a group of people with sabers to do stuff with.

The other thing you can do is take my approach: buy multiple sabers, and show up with them in your trunk at EVERY dusk-ish event you go to. Mention them somehow, if there's interest, pull them out. I've got half a dozen people seriously considering buying lightsabers at this point.

I have another friend who is even more into star wars than me and he really wants one, he just can't afford one. I'm in college and the saber I have in the mail will likely be my only one. I do own a Force FX Anikin ROTS saber by master replicas that I've had since they first debuted, but I don't think those are really made for dueling and would likely break easily. |
