Greetings saberites!

At long last we are proud to present the much awaited first Djem So video from Terra Prime. This one starring our very own VorNach. This acceleration is simple but contains the essentials for achieving flowing strength with continuous downward attacks.

Here too is the introduction of a good complete guard system for swordplay. These guards are the positions that mark proper form and provide the frame work for your attacks and parries. Watch closely and you can see the transitions. This, while more advanced than what we have been talking about with Shii-Cho, is none the less very basic, and anyone interested in Djem So should get familiar with this concept.

The important points include full body power behind every strike, and moving smoothly through the guards and strikes.

Without further Ado,

I'm definitely still an Ataru practitioner, but I believe the guard system presented in this video will be useful.... my defense is pathetic in that it is nonexistent. Good stuff here, good stuff indeed.... point for Master Nonymous and I shall track VorNach down to give him a point as well.

I really love Djem So, because it has that "active defense" component in addition to the overwhelming offense.  You show it nicely when you demonstrate how each guard is used step by step in the acceleration.  Very nice!

Thanks for sharing it Master Nonymous, and thanks to VorNach for making it!

Thanks for the positive feedback folks.
The video was a lot of fun to put together and this opens up more avenues for
more detailed work down the road.
Please do stay tuned.

And I do have plans for more.
At the moment between the collaborative work with Master Nonymous and some professional development preparation I've been working on my video production has fallen off.  Once I finish up with some important work related tasks I'll come back to do some more Djem So tutorials.

In the meanwhile please keep checking in at the TerraPrime Light Saber Academy channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/TerraPrimeLightsaber?feature=watch) for more of our tutorials, discussions and demonstrations.
