I need to go shooting with the lady soon... we just got some .380 ammo for her PPK from my dad and I need to get in some pops with my .40 lest my aim fall into disrepair.

So I went to one of the local gun shops today, and looked at some stuff. I know they were getting a lot of hate some pages back, but I ALMOST bought a Glock. Then I decided I should not put myself in more debt right now. lol.

I'm not interested anyway. While I was in the shop, I played around with a Mossberg 500 12 gauge. I didn't get to fire it, but it felt REALLY nice, and solid. He has two identical ones, both used for 250 bucks. I think they're an older version, but still a VERY nice shotgun, none the less. And that Glock was nice too, 40 cal. I want both.  |

They're incredibly easy to find, at least in my area it seems. They're a very reasonably priced gun new, and I've been routinely finding them used, in very good shape, for half that. If you want a shotty, they definitely seem like the way to go. |
