He should, considering it effects him s well. I'm sure he and mom have found ways to take a shower, but he doesn't exactly like me right now so fat chance he'd do anything for me. (Not doing well with this whole transition, neither is mom.) You'd still think he'd understand a bit better.

Well I'm not very pretty right now. The shower broke, apparently a leak in the pipe. So instead of paying someone to do it, and have things fixed in a couple of days, Dad and his buddy decide "Oh hey we can totally do this ourselves!" I haven't had a shower in 3 days now, and the thing is still totally disassembled... my hair looks awful since I have no way to condition or style it and it's not long enough to wear in a ponytail. My dad's response? "I'll get it done, don't plan on bathing here anytime soon." Thanks. 

Get a bottle and do it in a sink!  I've had to do that before.  It's a pain, but it's better than greasy hair.

We have people bring in instruments all the time that they tried to "fix" themselves.  Our repair guys went to school for this and they have seem some sh*t, let me tell you.

I haven't paid my gym membership in months. Also there's one other issue that would prevent me from showering in the ladies shower, and two that would prevent me from being in the men's shower....

Those lazy bastards should have to earn that money we pay them every year.  I went to one of their meetings and they said the only time they "take action" against someone is if other neighbors complain about it.  I don't think I'm the only one who complained about the dog because I overheard said-neighbor talking about how she didn't know what to do because the dog just gets out of her fence sometimes (MAGIC???) and she can't stop him.  Uh, yes you can.  Plenty of ways.   You want the damn dog?  Well, you better do your job as the human handler.  Idiot. 

It's called a leash, dumbass. And people wonder I find people so abhorrent.

Quick question, but is the shower a one-person thing or a multi-person thing?  Because if it's a single bathroom with a door you can lock, I'd just go into the ladies room because that's what you are.  If anyone has a problem with it?  Well, frick them.

I've never been in the women's locker room, but I remember the men's shower "stalls" being not super private.


That looks like what I remember, but I haven't been in the locker room in over a year, so maybe a bit fuzzy. The ones at school are out, because you need a student ID to access, and mine is still my "male" one. (They won't change it until my name is legally changed, something about the computer system not allowing for preferred information.)

Today was a day.

lost the alternator on the Mazda. (It just sort of gave up).
had to unload a truck on my own because the drivers aren't paid to do anything but drive and we were short handed.
finally had the money to replace my POS Dell, so I took Buses out to microcenter (which took three hours)
Somewhere along the way I lost my Bank card so I couldn't get a new computer.
and finally I blew the fuse to the machine shop and don't have any spares.

everything hurts and I want to sleep for four days.

Well, this is kind of a vent, but also amusing.  Because I work in a music store, one would assume that I do, in fact, know a thing or two about music, but you'd be (not) surprised how many customers come in and try to talk down to me about stuff that is obviously BS.  Like today, this lady came in and told me she needed a box of saxophone reeds.  Hey, not a problem.  I ask her what size and brand (she doesn't know, so I have to make an educated guess) and give them to her.  I see that she also has a daughter who plays clarinet, so I ask if she needs any reeds for that.  She says that she doesn't, that her son (the sax player) shares his reeds with her daughter.  I explain to her that this is impossible, as the reeds for sax and clarinet are cut completely different and are different sizes.  She INSISTS to me that they've been doing this for years.

I play clarinet.  And saxophone.  I know this is impossible. 

I tell her this.  She gets totally huffy about it and I'm trying not to laugh.  She's SO insistent that I don't know what I'm talking about.  Then, she asks me if we have reeds . . . for her other son's trumpet.

Yeah, lady.  I'm done.

I have played the trumpet since primary school and I have never used reeds. . . Maybe thats why I am not very good at it?
