I recommended seasons 2-5 for that very reason.
Over all I would season 3 is the best season, although season 4 and season 6 have two of the best episodes of the entire series (Hush in Season 4 and Once More With Feeling in Season 6, which is the amazing musical episode).
Season 5 has the best ending of the entire series (brings a tear to my eye every time).
Jev, would you say that's a fair assessment? I would say that Season 2 and Season 5 are almost tied for gut-wrenching endings, with Season 2 edging it out by a bit. Season 3's ending was uplifting, Season 4's was strange, but in a good way, Season 6's was a close third to 2 and 5, and 7 was satisfying. Still think the Season 5 episode "The Body" was the hardest hitting episode of all of them. It was brutal, visceral, and unrelenting in its portrayal of the subject matter involved (not spoiling a damned thing here). I know for a fact that what happened in that episode is 100% accurate to what happens in real life, because I went through all of that myself. And, back on track: Jo Frost (Super Nanny) Ricki Lake (Go Ricki, Go Ricki, Go Ricki) Nice. That was nice.

Dammit, I forgot about "The Body". Great episode, very effectively done without any music in the whole episode. As emotional as Season 2's ending was, Season 5 was just.....wow! I agree with eveything else you said though. Nice. That was nice.
Yes they are.

That's my point. Whedon wrote the movie, but the filmmakers bodged it completely. But then some tv executives were looking for programs for the, then, new CW network. One of them saw the movie and thought the premise would make a good show. They contacted Whedon and the rest is history. It became a smash hit and a cornerstone of the network in those days. And the network allowed Whedon to fulfil his vision for the character in a way the filmmakers didn't. He put together a great creative writing team that included Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight, amongst others who are now big the comic book movie/tv world.
Yeah, you gotta watch those movie types. They're always screwing things up. #Poewassupposedtodie Moving on.... Vanessa Lengies

Dude, that's nothing. I have a thing for Jamie Clayton. And she was born a he. So? The actress I posted pages back, Michelle Hendley was too. It shouldn't matter.

I don't think they were making an issue. I think it was more to highlight that there's nothing wrong being attracted to someone that others may consider unconventional, either in terms of looks or gender. I remember thinking Ru Paul was cute when she first burst onto the scene. Thought it was funny when I found out she was a drag queen. But I've always been secure in myself (plus I've got a good 20 or 30 friends who are drag queens!)

That's true. I just reacted to Jev's implication that because Jamie Clayton was born a boy, that him being attracted to her is weird. That's all.
