I prefer the Clothespin and Clothespin Jr from TCW.  The curved hilts look cool and all but I'm not sure that slight curve of the Rebels dual hilts could be duplicated with what process US uses.  But I await the day that I'm proved wrong.

I think the more gentle curve of hers would be more easily accomplished by US since it would probably wouldn't interfere with the electronics as much as Dooku's or Ventriss'.

I would like to see that too.

It is also on my to-do list whenever I learn how to use a lathe and mill, in case Ultrasabers doesn't come out with one.
I like that one too. I have plans to modify my Liberator in such a way that it references both Ahsokas clothespin and the Graflex. just waiting on the parts I need...

I also have a simple suggestion for UltraSabers, it would be really nice if after placing a order if there was a "Ready to Ship" status, in addition to "Processing" and "Shipped. It would give customers a little piece of mind I think, to know that their order is finished or partly finished, instead of the limbo of "Processing".

But then they would have to add steps to their process, slowing things down even more.

I'd like a smaller curved saber like the original Apprentice saber I think it was. I like the Mantis but its too large looking for me unless pics are just playing with my mind like always. Maybe something Aeon size though would be nice

The pics are always playing tricks with your mind. I estimated that most of the sabers are at least 20% larger in real life from what they look like in the pics. I nearly crapped myself when I first held my Mantis. It was enormous, yet suprisingly easy to wield.

I too have longed for a simpler curved hilt. Like a Standard Issue. Something with a sweeping curve and not just a 30° bend. I would even be will to pay for a manditory recharge port to accommodate a more complex power setup. I've seen another smith do that with his curved sabers. The orientation of the electronics is not conducive to coming back out of the saber, so he just puts recharge ports on everything.

Yeah - I was gonna say -  a true Dooku curved hilt IS doable - but it would mean a recharge port, no Emerald driver & not altering your Sound as you could not remove the cards.  It would be a permanent install.

Which- to get that - I'd be fine with!

Actually I 've  been wondering if dual mini-USB ports would be doable in addition to the recharge so you NEVER have to open up the Saber for anything.  That would be incredible.

Winning? Is that what you think it's about? I'm not trying to win. I'm not doing this because I want to beat someone, or because I hate someone, or because I want to blame someone. It's not because it's fun. God knows it's not because it's easy. It's not even because it works, because it hardly ever does. I do what I do because it's right! Because it's decent! And above all, it's kind! It's just that. Just kind.

The guy I refer to uses RICE plugs, like small head phone jacks. it allows an interface between comp and saber but you don't have to pull the board out.

I know it all sounds good, but these types of electronics are like $6-700 just for the guts. There are boons to lower tech.

How about a separate new products page so we can tell what's new and such? Just a thought on that Tongue That way if a new smaller curved saber or anything new comes out we can tell more easily. Like I did miss the release of the new V4 sabers until looking through the sabers more carefully

Not it. But I have very analytical eyes. (I'm an engineer) I was scrolling through the saber menu cuz I wanted to look at the Flamberge again before logging off one day, and that was when I noticed a handful of new sabers. Even at a flash, I knew something had been added. That was the day I announced to everyone that the Menace had been released.

Dudes!  Just use the Sort dropdown!  😉

It does it a liitle bit in reverse to me - but if you select "Oldest" from the dropdown & hit "OK" - it will sort it from the Newest releases to the Oldest.

If you do that right now, it will give you all the Flamberges, followed by the Menaces and all the V4s and so on by release.

Although im new here. I agree with a few suggestions in this thread and i will add my own from being a customer from canada.

-Bladeless options to cut cost, especially on shipping is good idea. especially for ppl outside of USA.
-Ahsoka saber. both old and new. great idea. huge fan of clone wars and the new rebels series.
- more "inspired by" designs.
- more unique designs and custom options like leather wrapping etc. on the right saber, it looks beautiful.
- and finally and the biggest one for me. better shipping options for canadians when shopping for odds and ends. currently i would pay the same shipping for something simple say a pommel  as i would pay if i bought a whole saber set up. and thats just wrong imo. i shouldnt have to pay 30$ shipping on a 20$ pommel. and your stuck with the one option. just send it economy. i dont need fed ex.

Easiest solution for your shipping conundrum?  Move from Canada to Texas, USA.  You're shipping should go way down.   Wink

(Kidding.  Couldn't resist.)
