(raises hand) I learned the lyrics, specifically, so I could sing along with the movie and impress MJ when we had started dating. Though that turned sour the moment she started to tear up instead. |

(raises hand) Oh, I didn't mean to imply that he was bad in any way. Gerry Butler is an amazing actor when he's allowed outside the typical tough guy/soldier role. Phantom is a good example of this, as are The Bounty Hunter, The Ugly Truth, and my personal favorite, Law Abiding Citizen. I personally think he should have been cast as Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games instead of Woody Harrelson. |

Unrelated: I love MainStayPros youtube channel. They put out some high quality work for a very low budget group. This is a trailer for a movie they have made and are about to send to distributors. I think it's more about comparing apples to oranges. Sure, a screamer probably couldn't top an opera singer in raw volume, but I doubt an opera singer could scream without destroying their voice either. This is why I said modern singer. I don't see screaming into a mic as real singing. If it were, children would be Grammy Winners. |
