Finally finished Superman 2. I enjoyed it, certainly not as much as the modern MCU, but it was worth it. The effects were laughably bad compared to today, but I've decided not to let old special effects ruin movies for me.

I love that movie. Christopher Reeve was so perfect for that role. He transformed his body so he didn't have to wear a padded suit, like they wanted him to, and I can't help but think of General Zod as Chancellor Valorum when I watch it now, since Terence Stamp played both roles. |

Yeah, same here. First when he had the accident and then when he passed away, after coping and adapting so valiantly for years to his limitations. The Oscars? Oh yes, I sure did. He was such a fighter. Did you see the 1998 remake of Rear Window with him? I thought that was pretty awesome he could play that part, and did really well. |
