Same can be said for you. Love the Allman Brothers and the Black Angels wil definately stick, jus because of the clip. This is what the radiostation gave me a few minutes back when I turned it on:

Thanks, he's a Dutch artist who mainly plays a blend of Americana/singer-songerwriter, great guitarplayer who has been around for years, but wasn't really known to the bigger audience and then made this song (little more ballad-like) last year wich was his big break here in the Netherlands. Here's an entire show of him. Link starts at a cover of I'm on fire. I know it maybe sacrilege, but I think it isn't a bad take and it'll let you get used to his sound/voice and the organ sound is real nice. Furtherup in the set the organ player does some real nice things.

I watched the the beginning and really liked his version of I'm on fire. So I looked at the set list. I noticed a bunch of songs I like and started it from the beginning. I'm so glad I did. His cover of " if you want me to"...awesome! How he slides from that into "Riders on the storm" then into "baby please don't go" then into "moon dance", the pink panther song and right back into if you want me to. It blow me away. That whole group are great musicians. I'm going to go finish watching it. Thank you again. |
