About the whole make an app to change blade color by making a Emerald drive that is bluetooth, Id even take a 2nd AV switch to switch between X number of colors just like the V4 soundboard switches between sounds. I know it would be near impossible without new hardware but it be nice to be able to update the Emerald drive to tag the color to a sound on the sound bank.

How about getting a small reserve of your hilts from the machinist with ZERO drill-outs and/or taps so that full DIYers can choose what to do there?
Like - I love the new Emperor's Hand, it's gorgeous - but if I had my choice, I would much rather buy an Empty Hilt with no switch or covertec hole so I could try and replace one of the upper rivets with a disguised tactile switch . . . or at the very least just use an inset silver 12mm momentary switch where the Activation Box currently is.
So in a nutshell - it would be great if you get a small batch of pure DIY versions so the Customer/Installer could have complete control over where to place the switch, what size/type of switch, etc.

I was looking at using a Shock Le body for a project but it's stuck with a guarded switch hole and I was gonna use a gold AV switch from TCSS. It'd be great if they branched out to DIYers. |

I like this idea a lot. I've been wanting an app for some time, since I don't have access to a desktop that I can download the launcher to. |

Well, I think the most realistic option for having multiple color profiles would be US developing a single board that handles both Sound & Color Mixing (which is absolutely doable). Right now, yes, they could possibly ("possibly" because I don't know that Emerald has a memory bank storing multiple color profiles which could be tethered to a switch for operation) update the Emerald Firmware and add a 2nd switch but I think they will understandably consider that problematic. Primarily because, obviously, they didn't have 2 switches in mind when they designed all these hilts so that could be a problem fitting them in a logical location. I think the best thing would be to let US know how much you'd love to see Emerald V2 with this capability.  Oh and as long as we're updating their hardware for them, Blaster Block SFX please!!!  |

Proper looking Obi-wan ROTS lightsaber. This needs to happen especially with the upcoming movie  Well, have either a ROTS or an ANH option if you want. Would be cool for sure. Just can't really pass it with the Archon V2.1 saber or the 3.1 x.x At least that's how I feel. Unless you get an arbiter silver emitter then cut slots in the grenade grip |

I just got my Emperor's Hand, and I adore it. From the first time I saw it though, I couldn't help thinking that a nickel plated version would look totally sick. Also, perhaps a black activation box option... |

Ok, so I started thinking last night about the do-ability of a wooden saber.  IKR. How can you get wood to have adequate strength for a hilt. Then it hit me: a reduced OD aluminum body with a wooden shroud. . But what kind of wood? I initially though oak, but then I thought harder and harder. I'm not sure how achievable the result would be but I came to the conclusion of using manzanita wood. It is stupid hard. My parrots never chewed on it because it took too much effort. Only the macaw ever chewed on it, and only he had the strength to pierce coconut shell. And with a wooden shroud, a wood burner could be used to emblazon custom markings. I think it....... wood be a big seller.  |
